There was no update last week as I attended the IPMS Convention in Chattanooga Tennessee. My 1/350 USS Carl Vinson won first place in the 1/350 Aircraft Carrier class! We had a great time there. The Chattanooga IPMS chapter put on an awesome show. I can’t say enough on how well they did and their assistance helping modellers getting set up. It was a fantastic show.
Getting back into the groove, I turned my attention back to building the Tamiya 1/48 P-47D Bubbletop. The engine has been built, detailed and installed. I was also able to add the ammunition bays to the wings. Check out the details and photos in the build log 1/48 P-47D Thunderbolt “Bubbletop”
Also this week I added two more 1/350 LHD hangar bay decal sets for the USS Bonhomme Richard and the USS Kearsarge. You can check them out in the decal section. At Decals
I am also working on a short video tutorial on cutting open panels. I am hoping to have it posted later this week. I will let you know when it is uploaded and ready for viewing.
