The 1/48 Trumpeter HU-16A Albatross is Completed!

This week I finished up the Albatross in the United States Coast Guard (1957) scheme. Overall this was a nice kit to put together. There are a few areas that need attention but overall a very good kit to build. The Caracal decals look great. Some handling caution on the larger size decals due to the thin decal film but they conform well.

You can see all the photos and details from start to finish in the build log at 1/48 HU-16A Albatross USCG

As for a preview of my next build, I will be switching in up by building another ship. This will also be a very special build with super detailing. It is being built for a client and the entire project is expected to take 4-5 months to complete. It is being built for a display honoring the 80th anniversary of a historic World War II mission. Stay tuned for more details as well as the start of the project next week. Happy modeling!

For those in the United States Have a Happy 4th of July!!!
