WEEK THREE– 1/25 scale 1922 Model T Touring Car – Body Details

This past week was a little limited as I celebrated my 62nd birthday. I was able to get the body installed on to the chassis and the rest of the time was spent making the many details that will go on to the body. The display case from Grandpa’s Cabinets arrived this week. (https://www.grandpascabinets.com/ )

I need to make the mount for the rear of the car then make the license plate frames with another brake light. The actual car uses a legal antique license plate as well as a replica plate from 1922. There are a lot more details that requiring scratch building like the FORD logo on the radiator, Radiator cap, front license plates, a horn for the driver side door, and the support linkage for the top. There are other plans this upcoming week so I am not sure if there will be an update next week. I am hoping to complete this by the end of the month.

You can see all the photos and details from start in the build log at: 1/25 scale 1922 Model T Touring Car
