The sixth week of the F4U-1A Corsair project was spent working on all the details of the scene. The base has been painted and I am working on the palm tree’s which takes a lot of time as each frond of each tree has hand painted details. I am hoping to have the display base completed in a week or two. When the custom case arrives I can mount the base and create the back drop of the beach to complete this project.
