It has been a long six weeks but the relocation which included packing, moving, unpacking, and set-up of the Model Studio. I now have internet set up and running great. It took a few weeks to get the internet going as we had to have the fiber optic line run to the house. While I waited for this to be accomplished I unpacked and set up the studio.
For those wondering I have 134 built models. Out of them 18 of them need minor repair. A couple of antennas came loose, a few aircraft lost a bomb or missile, a couple had one of their landing gear come off, and a couple of jets had their open canopy come off. I had one aircraft, my 1/48 F-14 from VF-111, sustained an accident after it was unpacked. This caused the nose gear to break off and the canopy came off and was cracked. I will need to replace the canopy due to the crack.
I just need to find a canopy from a Hobby Boss 1/48 F-14A. If anyone has a spare I can pay for it and shipping.
I have actually already repaired 8 of the aircraft but still have 10 more to repair.
As for decals, I am back up 100% and can ship orders within 24 hours after receiving orders.
Also, I am offering a 20% off coupon for all decals until July 5th to celebrate the completion of the relocation as well as the 250th Anniversary of the United States. To use the coupon just enter “ BigMove2026 ” in the coupon box in the CART.
As for commission builds, I still have numerous projects around the new house to take care of (not model related) so there is still a delay on scheduling them. I will contact those who have already requested a commission when I am ready to begin working on them and work up a schedule. Thank you for being patient with your requested builds.
Thank you to all my fans who followed this relocation and stay tuned for exciting new builds. I will be finishing the build of the 1/48 F-35C soon.
The box of models on the floor are the models I hang from the ceiling. The ceiling has a popcorn texture with glitter in it, this is going to be removed for a smooth ceiling and then I will hang the models.
NOTE: the pink post-it notes are on the models that need minor repairs.
