The sixth week I was able to spend a little more time on the bench as the work on our new house starts to wind down. The F-35C has a refueling probe installed, the cockpit tub installed, the fuselage halves assembled, wings, horizontal stabilizers, and the tails installed. There are some fit issues with the fuselage halves and the wing roots on the underside. I also had a part missing that looks like the plastic injection did not fill the mold correctly. I ended up scratch building this.
I am now working on the outside of the wings and then detailing the landing gear doors. I am hoping to get the painting process started by the end of the week.
