This week the MK II Spitfire was paused due to a slight scheme change requested by the client and some paint had to be ordered. While waiting on paint delivery I was able to build and complete the 1/72 Tamiya P-51D which now makes the multi-aircraft build half way completed. The Tamiya P-51D is a very nice kit. Goes together very well. The only thing I added was a PJ Productions resin pilot since the aircraft was built wheels up. The resin pilot was a perfect fit in the cockpit. The paint arrived for the MK-II so I will now finish the MK-II and then start on the MK-IXc Spitfire.
