The 1/48 ICM Do-17Z-2 World War II German light bomber is now completed.

The build of the D0-17Z-2 is now finished. The decals worked very well and the clear parts fit perfectly. This was a fun build of the German light bomber nicknamed the “Pencil Bomber”. The kit offers some very nice details and went together well with only some extra work required to fit the wings to the fuselage. Thank you for following along.

You can see all the details of this build from the start to finish in my build log at 1/48 Do-17Z-2 German Light Bomber

Next week I will be starting on a visually stimulating aircraft. I will be building a Beech C-18S twin-engine aircraft nicknamed the “Beech Twin 18”. I will be using ICM’s 1/48 scale kit. The scheme is going to be the exciting air show version flown by Matt Younkin named “Magic By Moonlight” I will be building this “in flight” and will be using many LED lights and some fiber optics to replicate the aircraft performing its visually stimulating night time routine.
