The second week and the fuselage has been masked and painted. I also installed the wings and painted them. The aircraft now sports the white over gull grey paint scheme. I also finished the propellers with paint and decals.
I spent a couple of evenings creating the decals required for the VP-8 scheme.
I am currently working on the landing gear and the bays. The bays have very limited details so I will be adding some. Also the landing struts and the wheels have a lot of mold marks so these needed to be filled with putty. I plane on getting the landing gear installed and then I can start applying all the decals.

NEW AIR WING DECALS!
This week I have released another air wing set. I have had many requests for creating decals for the USS Wasp LHD-1. The air wing decals are typical decals for the V-22, various helicopter squadrons, and some of the F-35B’s. These are not cruise/year specific. I took all the requests and compiled a set to accommodate all the requests. I should note that the F-35B decals will be printed on white decal film (Separate sheet) and the background is an exact match for the Gunship Grey.
